He wears his Pattern 1903 mounted equipment in āpatrol orderā - although much of this gear was common issue to Imperial mounted troops, his uniform, weapon and equipment are Australian made, from his spurs to the āKangaroo Feathersā (emu plumes) on his slouch hat.
